NERDSCAPE vol.1 : The Introduction : TSUN-DELE

ほぼ一年間深く静かに停滞していた web ペーパー的な企画に紆余曲折あって、ようやく陽の目を拝む日がやってきた。ツンデレの珍奇解説なんていまとなっては安直そのものだが、そこはそれ犬時間のインターネットは光の速さで歩くゼーってかんじでひとつ。

But, a classification actively in progress in Japanese OTAKU scene.
One of the class (or attribute), it was called "TSUN-DELE" which classifies some animated female characterlistics.

The character, often female, having this attribute might have actively, competitive behavior in public. Sometime aggressive character. This kind characteristic was represented by the word "TSUN", meaning sharp. Otherwise, there is "DELE", meaning totally different side of characteristics. Like being coquettish, tenderly behavior if there is one's sweetheart and not others. The character having these "TSUN" and "DELE" together, was called by the word merged both, the "TSUN-DELE".

In addition, most of them are "TSU-RI-ME", which means "the slant eyes" represents the "TSUN" status. However, they make the corder of the eyes in down, in "DELE" status. or called "TA-RE-ME".

The first cradle of the word Тундэрэ(TSUNDELE) was in Russia at the era of Romanov dynasty. In early century, the word was originally called "Тундэрэская" (TSUNDELESKAYA).
The first introduction the word "TSUNDELE" to Japan was in 1792, the mid of Edo era, which were under control of Tokugawa dynasty.

The Japanese merchant, Koudayu Daikoku(1751-1828) was drifted at the Russian beach, because he involved in shipwreck accident owned by himself at northern sea of Japan. In his five years wondering and experiences, he learned the word "Тундэрэская" (TSUNDELESKAYA) from his exchanged botanist.

After he found the word, he finally returned to Japan. He begun to introduce the word "TSUNDELESKAYA" to Japan. (For more about, read an old article, "Hokusa-Bung-Ryaku")

For 300 years long, the word "TSUN-DELE" were loved to use by the 84 countries. And the word survived with tremendous minor change, or Japanese style KAIZEN.

文章はおれが適当に酒飲みながらデッチあげたものを T が適当に英訳し、フランク石田氏に適当にデザインしてもらい、あとイラストは、ぽもろっそ氏がネットに発表していたやつを適当に使わせてもらって完成。最終的にこの画像がブラジルあたりまで流れて、現地の純朴なオタを半年くらい騙せれば最高だなあという意図のもとに。
